Do you prefer to carry your knife on your left side? Left-handed sheaths are available!

SlicKnives has left hand sheaths available for our Curve 4.5, Hunter 5, and Kepper 5 fixed blade knives.
If you need a left-handed sheath instead of the standard right-handed sheath, just drop a note requesting a left-handed sheath in the “Order special instructions” field in the Shopping Cart when completing your purchase.

Simple Sweeping Hollow Ground Blade

Years ago, I was fishing with a friend that was wise in the ways of historical blades and his preference to clean trout was to use a simple straight back blade with a long sweeping curved edge for precise, smooth cuts. He taught me that his heavily-patinaed unmarked carbon steel blade with a simple wood handle was called a classic roach belly profile and was a design that’s been around for a long time dating all the way back to the colonial period.
