SlicKnives’ founder bumped into a basic straight back roach belly-profiled knife years ago and fell in love with its simplicity and wonderful game processing capabilities.  The Curve _4.5 ^TM is part of our Premium SlicKnives series with a blade profile based on the early American colonial patterns that, due to the low cost to make it at that time, were common back in the day and loved by trappers, hunters, scouts, and pioneers during Americans’ westward migration.

Designed in the U.S. and made from German Bӧhler N690co stainless steel by our expert knife making partners in Albacete, Spain, you’ll be able to rely on an edge that holds up for all your slicing needs.  The 4.5” blade length and slim grip will help you perform fine tasks in an easy-to-maneuver nimble profile. 

The Curve _4.5 comes out of the box super-sharp with a hollow grind and a secondary beveled edge for strength and years of service.  We’ve included jimping along the spine in front of the Ricasso for sure handling.  And since it’s made with quality German stainless steel, you won’t need to worry about the edge or blade corroding when it’s not in use.

Black canvas micarta next to the full-tang blade provides a slim and grippy, hand-sculpted foundation that’s sure to please, even when it gets wet.  The ergonomic grip is mounted with two sets of stainless screws and includes the pictured lanyard with 3D printed purple glow bead.  The 3D printed purple luminous glow bead captures and stores light energy from the sun allowing it to "glow" in the dark - it will not "glow" without time in the sun.

The custom Purple Haze KYDEX® sheath is hand-fitted to protect your Curve _4.5 allowing for vertical or horizontal belt carry keeping it ready for the next task or for protecting the blade and your gear if you prefer to carry it in your pack instead.  The pictured belt lock & belt clip are both included for numerous carry options and the hole spacing on the sheath is to the industry standard of 3/4" on center.  KYDEX® sheaths may scratch the blade with use - please, keep the sheath clean and free of debris.
