Simply the SlicKest Camp Knife Around

Thanks for swinging by – I appreciate it!

As I shared in an earlier post, I’ve always been a fan of Horace Kephart’s sheath knife – it’s simply a wonderful blade profile that performs many tasks well.  While the original versions and many of today’s replicas use high carbon steel, I wanted to create a version in from a more corrosion-resistant steel to help keep maintenance at a minimum.

SlicKnives’ Kepper 5 is made using Sandvik 14c28n for a knife that keeps a good edge that can be touched up easily and offers corrosion resistance in damp environs.  Its full flat grind slices smoothly and 0.156” thickness at the spine is tough enough for a wide range of jobs while in the field, hanging out at camp, or everyday duties around the house.

It’s 90-degree spine helps you preserve your edge when scraping is required and the jimping along the spine supports a solid, secure grip when pressure along the blade is needed.  And paired with its premium leather sheath and included ferro rod, it’s ready for any of your adventures.

Take a more in-depth look at the Kepper 5 today!

Thank you,
Brendon
