Since most users prefer carrying fixed blades on their belt at the waist, SlicKnives sheaths are designed with a single loop to be carried accordingly and are expertly crafted from tough premium leather that features a smooth even finish. 

However, some users prefer to carry their belt sheath a bit lower for easier reach, flexibility when sitting down or quickly changing positions, and to help clear bulkier clothing layers when colder weather requires more insulation.  SlicKnives has created this large sheath dangler to provide our users with flexible carrying options in the same tough black leather finish for a clean matching appearance.  This dangler looks good with other brands of black sheaths, too!

SlicKnives' leather dangler is stout and it is designed to quickly attach or detach from the user's belt without having to unbuckle the belt thanks to a couple of secure snaps.  Additionally, this sheath adapter includes two stainless steel sheath loop attachment options depending on the user' preferences: one that offers a more-controlled vertical carry or the other that allows for the ultimate in positioning flexibility.

Dangler addition for my Hunter 5 knife and sheath.

In looking for additional carry options for my recently ordered Hunter 5 knife i ordered the black sheath dangler to go with it.
My first impression of things started with the order. The website was easy to navigate and browse.
I do think a brief explanation of the dangler and intended use including a picture or two of use would have been helpful especially to others who may not know what it is or how it's used and my be interested in it.
The order was prompt and accurate. There was even a little extra thanking me for my order.
The product was exactly as described and was excellent in quality appearance and craftsmanship. It identically matched the leather and color of the sheath for my Hunter 5.
It was easy to install on my sheath and was comfortable to add to my belt. I do not often carry a knife this big on my body but usually on a small day pack, this is a great addition especially in colder climates etc where you are wearing wool/ snow pants or bibs as it allows you to carry more down your leg vs up on your waist where the external pants or other gear would ride.
In addition although not part of the dangler.... it was nice to see grommets built into the sheath for tying the sheath to your thigh. To have them designed to use together adds to the forethought, craftsmanship, and quality i have learned is at the heart of SlicKnives.
I did notice a small cable with threaded ends included with the dangler and found out after calling that this was a secondary means of attaching dangler to sheath that allows for more flexibility vs rigidity of carry especially if you intend to be sitting crawling or being more mobile while wearing the knive and dangler.
A small instruction sheet included with order would be helpful.
I am excited to further my use of the knife , sheath, and dangler more as we get into this year's hunting and camping seasons.... especially with this year's elk hunting trip planned more remote areas of Colorado!
Definitely a 5 star add to a 5 star knife!!!!
