It’s so tempting, isn’t it!?  You need to pry something or tighten a screw and all you have on you is your pocketknife – don’t do it, you’ll regret it!  Snap…  There went your knife tip; ugh!

I’ve done it before and ruined a perfectly good knife.  This common occurrence has led me to create the FlicKnives EDC Tool _2.5, so that I can carry a simple keychain or lanyard prying tool with me all the time.  I can save my knife tip for knife duty and pop-a-top when it’s time toss back a cold one with its integrated bottle opener!
